About Shalonda & Credentials

Shalonda Clyburn is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) based in Lancaster, SC, with over 15 years of hands-on experience supporting breastfeeding families.

Her passion for lactation care began after the birth of her first child β€” a personal journey that shaped her compassionate, judgment-free approach to supporting every family she works with.

IBCLC stands for International Board Certified Lactation Consultant β€” the gold standard credential in lactation care. It requires rigorous clinical training, continuing education, and passing a comprehensive international exam.

Shalonda maintains her certification through ongoing professional development to ensure her clients receive care that reflects the latest evidence-based practices.
